As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial success of our operations. You’ll work closely with leadership to provide financial reporting, in-depth analysis, and strategic recommendations that improve efficiency and drive profitability. What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with Operations leadership to analyze financial performance and support decision-making.
- Develop forecasts, budgets, and cost analyses to drive profitability.
- Identify process improvements and implement key cost-saving initiatives.
- Provide insights into financial and operational goals, recommending strategic actions.
- Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Evaluate accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting processes—then take the lead in optimizing them.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
What You Bring:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of accounting/finance experience (preferably in manufacturing).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and present complex financial data in a clear, actionable way.
- Experience leading and implementing process improvements.
- Proficiency in ERP and financial systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred:
- MBA, CPA, or progress toward certification.
- 5+ years of experience in finance/accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with QAD, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and financial analysis models (ROI, NPV, IRR).
