About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Video Editor to join our growing Video team in Barcelona.
This role is for someone who combines strong storytelling instincts with high-level technical craft. You’ll work across a wide range of formats — from social-first content to cinematic customer stories and brand campaigns — helping elevate the quality, consistency, and narrative strength of Factorial’s video output.
You’ll collaborate closely with videographers, producers, designers, and marketers, shaping projects from raw footage to final delivery, while helping define post-production standards and visual language for the brand.
This is a key role for someone who wants to push creative quality in a fast-growing tech company and help scale a high-impact in-house video team.
What You´Il Do
Lead the editing and post-production of high-impact video projects across multiple formats:
Customer success stories
Brand campaigns
Social media content
Event highlights
Product storytelling
Craft compelling narratives from raw footage, interviews, and b-roll.
Elevate the visual quality of edits through pacing, music, color grading, and sound design.
Develop edits that work both for social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and longer-form storytelling.
Take ownership of color grading and finishing, ensuring a polished and consistent visual style across projects.
Collaborate with videographers and producers during production to ensure strong editorial coverage.
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Social Media, and Partnerships teams to translate business goals into effective video storytelling.
Help define and improve post-production workflows, templates, and editing standards within the team.
Contribute creative ideas that raise the bar of Factorial’s video output.
Bonus points:
Experience editing documentary or interview-led storytelling.
Strong color grading sensibility.
Experience helping teams build post-production workflows or templates.
Background in brand storytelling or tech companies.
Here’s what we’re looking for
4–7+ years of professional video editing experience in production companies, agencies, or in-house creative teams.
A strong portfolio demonstrating narrative editing, including documentary-style or brand storytelling.
Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro.
Strong skills in color grading (DaVinci Resolve or Premiere).
Solid knowledge of After Effects / motion graphics workflows.
Strong sense of pacing, music editing, and visual rhythm.
Ability to work across formats:
Social-first edits
Branded storytelling
interview-driven narratives
Experience working with high-end footage and cinematic workflows.
Strong attention to detail in audio levels, color consistency, and finishing quality.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with multiple stakeholders.
Fluent in English (Spanish or Catalan is a plus).
