Description
About the Client
A U.S.-based construction and remodeling company operating both general contracting and plumbing divisions, serving residential projects across multiple scopes. Led by a hands-on owner, the business is scaling toward $5M in annual gross sales with a strong emphasis on process-driven pre-construction. The team values professionalism, clear communication, and systematic operations to deliver high-quality client experiences.
Why does this role exist?
This role exists to buy back 10–15 hours per week for the owner by delegating the systematic pre-qualification, vetting, and pre-construction intake process. As the company scales toward $5M in annual sales, the SDR will handle first-touch sales calls, educate prospects on the pre-construction workflow, and move only properly qualified clients into paid, on-site assessments. The role also reduces the administrative load on field staff by coordinating follow-ups with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Sales funnel management and appointment setting
- Handle incoming sales calls and referrals; log, track, and nurture leads
- Maintain pipeline hygiene and automate/standardize repetitive client communications
- Book and confirm qualified appointments so the owner focuses on high-value clients
Coordination and follow-ups (clients, vendors, field)
- Follow up with vendors on material orders and delivery schedules; close communication loops
- Check project status with field teams and relay updates to stakeholders
- Reduce context-switching for field staff wearing multiple hats by owning comms and reminders
Operations support and data organization
- Assist with day-to-day admin across both general contracting and plumbing divisions
- Support scheduling, document control, and project-level data review/organization
- Collaborate across team members as needed to keep operations running smoothly
