The Quantitative Analyst plays a crucial role in the development of the firm’s quantitative investment modeling process for Meeder’s Funds and Portfolios. They will assist in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of investment models, including asset allocation, equity, and fixed income models. This will include tracking model performance, conducting research, and performing statistical analysis to constantly improve our investment strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and improvement of investment models, including asset allocation, equity, and fixed income strategies.
- Produce quantitative research using MS Excel and Python, including statistical tests, regression, and time series analysis.
- Monitor investment models and performance.
- Analyze economic, fundamental, and technical indicators.
- Communicate to team members key factors driving changes in the investment models.
- Document research and analysis, including preparation of presentation materials.
- Assist in ad hoc capital markets research as needed.
