Position Title: Mechanical Engineer
Resort and Location: The Grandview at Las Vegas

Reports To: Chief Engineer
Position Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer position is primarily responsible for supporting the mechanical needs of the property such as electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting production machines as well as other maintenance duties throughout the property.
Position Requirements (Skills/Abilities):
Education: High School diploma or GED required. HVAC Certification and diploma (Universal) required, OSHA 10 Certified preferred.
Experience:
One to three years of maintenance/mechanical experience (including HVAC) in a multi-unit property (hotel, resort, condominium or apartment complex).

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with guests and employees of the organization.
Flexible Scheduling: Must be able to work Evenings, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is required to use his/her hands and fingers to feel, and reach for objects of various sizes, shapes and. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at time.
