Financial Analyst

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Finance department in closing of monthly financials, capital budgeting, yearend audit, and OSHPD reporting, etc. This position provides administration and management of the hospital and departmental financial reporting system, budgeting system, hospital statistics and productivity system. Acts as a liaison between Finance and other departments or customers of the Hospital and supports the coordination and development of operating and capital budgets for the Hospital. Supports ad hoc government reporting requirements.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance or work experience in related field required.
2. Two years of experience in health care accounting/financial analysis or cost accounting preferred.
3. Proficient in hospital computer systems, preferably Meditech.
4. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Windows environment software.
