Basic Functions:
At Embla Medical, the Finance Business Partner (FP&A) team plays a critical role in driving strategic and operational excellence through insightful financial analysis and planning. As a Financial Analyst supporting the Chronic Solutions business within the Americas region, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact reporting and analytics in support of commercial and strategic decision-making.
Your primary focus will be on the Sales and Marketing functions across key segments including Lower Limb Prosthetics, Upper Limb Prosthetics, and Neuro Orthotics. In this role, you will partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support full P&L forecasting and performance analysis, scenario modeling, business case development, and the execution of strategic initiatives.
You’ll also play a role in broader global initiatives as needed—ensuring alignment across regions and functions to help Embla continue improving mobility and patient outcomes through innovative, data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the planning and forecasting process from product sales through full P&L for Chronic Solutions Americas, ensuring alignment across Lower Limb, Upper Limb, and Neuro Orthotics.
Develop data-driven analyses and financial models to evaluate business strategies, scenarios, and key decisions.
Act as the go-to resource for analytics, data modeling, business case development, and product-level pricing, volume, and mix analysis.
Prepare ad hoc reports, tools, and dashboards in Power BI and Excel to monitor and analyze detailed P&L performance.
Conduct variance and trend analysis and provide actionable insights to the Business Partnering team and senior leadership.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Corporate Finance to gather and validate business data.
Support strategy execution by analyzing past performance, identifying profitability opportunities, and challenging key assumptions.
Create and present executive-ready financial materials for business reviews and strategic alignment.
Break down complex business problems into actionable steps, using data to develop hypotheses and recommend solutions.
Identify trends and patterns in large datasets to generate insights that drive business improvement.
Participate in global FP&A projects, representing Chronic Solutions in cross-regional initiatives.
Proactively identify and support process improvement, cost controls and/or automation opportunities within financial reporting cycles.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or similar.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required including advanced vlookup and xlookup formulas, pivot tables, data visualizations, SQL a plus.
Experience with Power BI or Anaplan is a plus.
Prior experience in the healthcare or medical devices industry is a plus.
Basic understanding of financial statements and P&L structure.

The US base salary for this full-time position is $63,725 - $78,751 + benefits + bonus. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
