About Us

We're a growing specialist in litigation finance, providing smart, data-driven capital to law firms and claims management companies across the UK. Our small, ambitious team thrives in a fast-paced environment, focused on responsible growth and challenging the norm in legal finance. Risk management is central to what we do, and we're looking for someone ready to contribute to our success.

The Opportunity

New, high-impact role for a sharp analyst (5+ years' credit/underwriting/financial due diligence) to lead borrower onboarding and risk monitoring within our legal finance portfolio. You'll work closely with leadership to refine our diligence, monitor risk, and evolve our analytical tools. We need an analytical, inquisitive, and proactive individual ready to make healthy contribution.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial and operational due diligence for new legal firm/CMC borrowers.
  • Continuously assess borrower risk using internal scoring and red flags specific to legal finance.
  • Create investment/credit memos and support internal processes.
  • Produce monthly risk monitoring reports for live borrower facilities.
  • Maintain and refine credit/monitoring dashboards (Excel, Power BI or similar).
  • Collaborate with legal and operations on due diligence and facility assessments.
  • Help develop and audit portfolio management workflows.
  • Contribute to investor and audit reporting with clean data and insightful analysis.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years' experience in credit, underwriting, or financial analysis.
  • Background in private credit, structured/SME lending, legal finance, or related areas.
  • Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data analysis tools.
  • Experience in a growing SME (not just large corporates).
  • Independent, proactive, and collaborative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.

What You Can Expect:

  • Competitive salary + discretionary bonus.
  • £1,000 annual training budget.
  • Full training and growth opportunities within legal finance.
  • Regular team breakfasts and social events.
  • Annual international team trip.
