Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the "Best Places to Work" in the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking a Construction Credit Analyst to join our Construction Lending team in Novato, California.
Essential Duties:
With guidance/oversight:
• Support loan officers with partial preparation of Credit Recommendations.
• Review loan project file for missing items; contact borrowers for necessary missing information prior to ordering loan documents.
• Prepare orders to draw based on approved Credit Recommendation and loan officer instructions.
• Assist Senior Construction Loan Administrator with disbursements and draw requests and other duties as needed.
Independently:
• Utilize loan accounting system to research loan activity.
• Maintain tickler database and, in coordination with lenders, contact customers requesting necessary financial information etc. prior to due date.
• Using analytical abilities and established spreading guidelines, accurately translate basic financial reporting of business and personal entities into bank-standard format for further analysis.
• Accurately order and interpret credit background information such as Equifax, Lexis Nexis reports, etc.
Professional Experience:
Educational/Professional Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The hiring pay range for this position is $30.61 to $41.31. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
