Senior Financial Analyst (Profitability)

This position is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to develop their career in FP&A with exposure to commercial finance and profitability analytics. The role is based out of Cricut’s headquarters in South Jordan, Utah, and will work collaboratively with cross-functional leadership across departments.

This position requires an individual to be local and willing/able to work onsite each week at least Monday through Thursday, with Fridays usually allowing flexible work locations, although you may be asked to come to the office if needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer profitability trends to evaluate business performance and provide actionable insights to optimize overall strategy and distribution effectiveness
• Lead development and enhancement of internal reporting and data visualizations to support sales and sales operations
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and drive implementation of automation solutions to enhance reporting speed, accuracy, and insight generation
• Partner closely with the Data Engineering team to support finance data automation initiatives and enhance reporting and data visualization capabilities
• Develop a deep understanding of the Cricut business model to deliver ad-hoc analysis
• Support FP&A and accounting peers during monthly and quarterly financial close processes
• Deliver executive-level analysis and presentations to support strategic decision-making
• Demonstrate strong ownership, influence, and cross-functional collaboration in driving business outcomes

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or other related field
• 4+ years of finance, pricing, accounting, or similar experience
• Demonstrated ownership of reporting, automation, or process improvement initiatives
• Proficiency in MS Excel with exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Experience partnering with Data Engineering or BI teams to support finance data automation initiatives and develop reporting and visualization solutions (e.g., Tableau, Domo, Power BI)
• Experience leveraging automation tools and AI solutions to drive process optimization and analytical efficiency
• Intellectual curiosity and a passion for corporate strategy
• Self-starter that assumes ownership of responsibilities and can deliver results amidst ambiguity
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver executive-level presentations
• Willingness to be in office 4+ days weekly and contribute to a lively team environment
