Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain systems that protect PRC‑Saltillo’s IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
• Engineer and maintain technical controls aligned with security policies, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
• Collaborate with the IT team to embed security guidance into infrastructure, systems, and solutions.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain security applications supporting the Information Security program.
• Perform audits and assessments of security engineering tools (including Mimecast, Portknox, Intune, Entra, Sophos, Graylog, DigiCert, and others) to ensure appropriate configuration and policy enforcement.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in security engineering or a related technical role required.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong understanding of network engineering concepts and the ability to configure security controls related to firewalls, VPNs, and other network technologies.
• Working knowledge of identity and access management principles.
• Ability to configure controls within an identity provider (preferably Entra).
• Ability to configure and secure Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize workloads.
• Ability to lead small projects and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver secure solutions.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
