Description
As a Risk Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with our consumer-facing services. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the bank's compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a robust risk management framework. You will collaborate closely with various teams to implement effective risk strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and identify potential risks across consumer-facing services and products.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring alignment with the bank's overall risk appetite.
  • Monitor and analyze key risk indicators (KRIs) to identify emerging risks and trends.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their risk profiles and provide risk management guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in risk management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate effective risk management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to anticipate and address potential challenges.
  • Prepare and present risk reports to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support the development and implementation of risk policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Lead and mentor a team of risk analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong preference for a Master's degree in Risk Management or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on consumer-facing services or products.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, risk modeling, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to risk management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience, with a track record of mentoring and developing talent.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools, such as SAS, Moody's Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for driving positive change and continuous improvement.
