Job Description

The Lab Technician I handles samples, performs analyses and reports accurate and timely data according to Laboratory Operating Procedures and test methodologies.
 

  • Homogenizes samples following standard protocols.
  • Assists with cleaning laboratory carts, glassware, racks.
  • Maintains cleanliness of laboratory work surfaces.
  • Maintains records of all quality activities as required in Operating Procedures and Test Methods.
  • Performs applicable testing with proper proficiency training with Supervision.
  • Maintains and verifies equipment.

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Interest in Microbiology/Chemistry or related field or commercial laboratory experience Preferred

 

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $20 - $21 hourly. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
