As an Intermediate Financial Analyst supporting the Irving Blending & Packaging (IBP) business, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality financial insights that directly support operational and strategic decision‑making. Your goal will be to drive accuracy in reporting, strengthen forecasting and budgeting processes, and provide meaningful analysis that helps leaders understand financial performance and future opportunities. Your Responsibilities:
Prepare financial and operational reporting to support leadership and operations
Develop and distribute KPIs, scorecards, flash reports, and stewardship reports
Conduct variance analysis and provide clear financial and operational commentary
Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting as
Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning cycles
Generate short and long-term forecasts aligned with business needs
Support business case development, including investment and scenario analyses
Produce analysis and reporting for Corporate teams to support consolidated decision‑making
Identify opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and data usage
Your Skills:
Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with high attention to detail
Strong ability to communicate financial insights effectively across audiences and levels of the organization.
High proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and basic macros
Technically inclined and eager to learn reporting systems and tools
Strong prioritization and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Knowledge of Salesforce, Power BI, PowerPoint, Sage, and SEI reporting (an asset)
Your Experience:
3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related analytical roles
Post‑secondary education in Finance or Accounting; bachelor’s degree preferred
Professional designations such as CPA or CFA considered an asset
