High School Chemistry Teacher

Salary: (Yearly) 2026-2027 Board Approved Salary Schedule (depending on years of experience)

Qualifications/Special Skills:

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned

Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of core academic subject assigned

Knowledge of curriculum and instruction

Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Coaching experience

Experience:

At least one year of student teaching or an approved internship

Grade Level: To be Determined

Additional:  $1,000 for Masters

                   $2,000 for Doctorate
