Job Description

 

The Financial Analyst - Pricing is responsible for supporting a variety of critical areas related to pricing. This role reports to Executive Director, FP&A and will partner with sales and product on account strategy, and pricing analysis that balances external needs with internal business goals. Leverage competitive insights and value pricing to build financial models, pricing proposals, and other relevant financial justification for senior leadership review. Additionally, this role supports the department with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Pricing analysis and reporting for all products. (35%)
  • Partner with Sales and Product managers (including Sr Leadership) to create competitive, value priced client solutions, ensuring profitability and efficient deal structures. (25%)
  • Serve as cross-functional liaison to major project teams to provide financial input and analytics to
  • improve decision-making. (10%)
  • Prepare and manage financial impact analysis by providing overall cost, profitability, and other relevant information for approval process. (10%)
  • Accountable for preparation, analysis and reporting of assigned processes’ results as compared to budget and prior year, including analysis of changes in staffing to senior leadership. (10%)
  • Assists in other assignments as needed. (10%)

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Math, Economics, or other related discipline. MBA or MS preferred but not required.

EXPERIENCE

  • Requires 3-5 years pricing experience.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel required. High proficiency in key systems: MS Office, Pivotal or other CRM, Domo or similar.
  • Sense of urgency, attention to detail. Problem solving skills and accountability.
  • Experience working with cross-functional departments (i.e. Sales, Product, Finance).
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and executive presence.
  • Comfortability collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from large data sets without either direction of firmly defined procedures.

COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS

  • Constant interaction with all departments and level with the company.

OTHER

  • Ability to work a hybrid office schedule, working in Westridge office in San Antonio, TX 3 days per week

Additional Information

Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000

The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
