cFocus Software seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our program supporting the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This position is on-site in Washington, DC.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or other related fields
3-10+ years of Cybersecurity experience
3-10+ years of experience building and creating security packages including NIST SP-800, Business Impact Assessments (BIA), Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), System Security Plans (SSPs), FIPS 199/200 Security Categorization Analysis, Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) plans, and POA&Ms
Housing and Urban Development experience is highly desired
Duties:
Create a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) in CSAM identifying the system changes required to correct and address the security weakness.
Create a corresponding JIRA story shall be added to the backlog which shall be scheduled for development as a priory story.
Support all HUD required vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, including providing credentials to security staff for the purposes of scanning and testing.
Attend security vulnerability findings meetings when vulnerability scans detect a deficiency or weakness.
Support investigating and containing potential security incidents per the HUD Security Operation Center (SOC) guidance.
Ensure that technical systems are usable by both Contractor personnel and authorized federal staff, where appropriate.
