Who we are looking for:
First Eagle is seeking a Credit Investment Professional for its Tradable Credit team in its Chicago office. 

The successful candidate will be involved with:

  • Investment screening

  • Financial modeling

  • Industry research, performing all levels of due diligence on potential investments

  • Presenting investment recommendations to portfolio managers

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance, business, economics or related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an analyst in investment banking, direct lending/private credit, commercial banking or on a leveraged debt trading desk

  • Direct experience in leveraged finance, credit analysis, hedge fund or direct lending is preferred

  • Technology sector is preferred

  • Strong financial modeling and communication skills

  • Disciplined work style with attention to detail 

  • Ability to manage time constraints and effectively meet deadlines

  • A track record of and orientation towards achieving results as a team while being a strong direct contributor

Base Salary range: $100,000 - $140,000 . In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to – the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
