DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Business Intelligence Analyst (Claims) - Senior (ONSITE in Jacksonville, FL). *Visa sponsorship is NOT available*. Bridges the gap between data collection and effective decision making; leads development of responses to requests with insurance/operational questions and uses meaningful analyses to provide answers creating reports as needed. Develops and monitors audits of data elements and sources to ensure data quality.

- Ensures data quality. Develops methods for audits of data from policy system and other sources to identify anomalies. Monitors periodic audits performed by others. Informs data owners of identified errors for correction. Follows up to ensure errors are corrected at the source. Communicates any inconsistencies to data users
- Analyzes and/or directs others to analyze data for trends, patterns or changes and communicates significance of findings to management. Understands data relative to its source and how it is entered/maintained in the system to properly use or direct others to use.
- Leads development of meaningful business intelligence analyses and reports using various sources of data in an efficient manner. Summarizes information appropriately for the intended audience. Produces senior-level presentations that will impact thinking and decision making. Refines and revises report production to ensure efficiency.
- Generates detailed documentation of work to enable reviews and replication of reports.
- Leads responses to ad hoc information requests from a variety of customers. Researches topics as necessary, compiles appropriate information and summarizes conclusions in a timely fashion.
- Confers with peers on processes and audits fellow work products to minimize errors and maximize efficiency. Cross trains colleagues on processes and report generation.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma | GED
- Bachelor’s Degree OR 3 years relevant experience, OR a combination of college education and relevant experience equivalent to 3 years. (Business, Economics, Statistics)
AND
- 5 years analytical, business intelligence and/or data management experience with a demonstrated proficiency using data visualization and analysis tools such as Power BI and SQL

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Skills in Data Visualization and Storytelling.
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field, such as math, computer science, actuarial science, statistics, physics.
- Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, AI
SCOPE/COMPLEXITY OF WORK:
- What percentage of time is accountable for short-term operational goals? 75%
